Aside from posting a note to your students on T-Square, you will also need to email the students enrolled in your class to notify them that you are using Canvas. The following is a template that you can use to communicate the change to your students. Please ensure that you personalize the text bolded in [square brackets] below:
For [enter semester here], the course [enter course number and name here] will be run through Canvas, Tech’s new learning management system, which replaces T-square. Here are a couple of things that you need to know:
You can log in to Canvas to access [enter course number here] using your GT credentials at https://gatech.instructure.com/. Once you log in, you will see the course listed on the main dashboard.
You may also access Canvas on your phone; simply download the “Canvas” app in the Google Play or iOS App Store.
